  6.     Back around issue 58, Fender
  7. became semi-obsessed about fonts. He
  8. LOVED the little unreadable rascals.
  9. Well, not [unreadable], but LOADSTAR
  10. tried all sorts of variations on the
  11. 8x8 theme.

  13.     But as it goes with love, ice
  14. cream, and hot latte: All things
  15. return to room temperature. After a
  16. good 60 issues, Fender had settled on
  17. his favorite "6 point" font, the one
  18. you are probably reading right now.

  20.     But the legacy remains -- and
  21. included on this issue at no extra
  22. monitary or memory cost are nine
  23. official LOADSTAR Fonts. Actually,
  24. these are part of the LOADSTAR
  25. Scroller program. But I figured --
  26. Hey! Here's a lagniappe that really is
  27. nigh on free!

  30. use up yet another block...
